Nicholle “Nic” Parsons was raised in Bay Shore, NY, a town nestled in the heart of Long Island. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from Iona University before going on to earn her J.D. from Elon University School of Law. Drawn to North Carolina in 2022 for law school, Nic quickly fell in love with the state—and its people—and chose to make it her home.
Nic was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in April 2025 after passing the February 2025 Bar Exam. As a practicing criminal defense attorney, she brings a combination of diligence, charisma, and courtroom readiness to her advocacy. Her legal training includes hands-on experience through internships in both public service and private criminal defense, further shaping her commitment to justice and client-centered representation.
In addition to her legal practice, Nic serves as the Member at Large on the board of the Pauli Murray Bar Association and is an active participant in the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association. During law school, she organized and led six name change clinics in the city of Greensboro and looks forward to continuing her community-centered work throughout her career.
